MEASUREMENTS, TESTS AND PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL ANALYSES EUROSHIP ENGINEERING carries out measurements, tests and physical-chemical analyses by own means or in collaboration with accredited laboratories, in conformity with: - international regulations; - acquis communautaire; - national technical norms of administrations; - classification societies rules recognised by administrations; - applicable standards; - internal technical norms, for determination of: - noise emission level; - vibrations level; - chemical pollution level; - chemical composition of substances and materials; - chemical composition of exhaust emission of engines; - physical characteristics of substances and materials; - mechanical characteristics of materials and welds; - internal defects of materials; - internal defects of welded joints; - thickness of strength structures elements; - body plan; - displacement of light ships and position of their gravity centre; - amount of goods embarked on ships. TECHNICAL SURVEY OF CONFORMITY EUROSHIP ENGINEERING carries out technical survey of conformity for owners and operators during construction, conversions, modifications, modernizations or repairs of their ships and off-shore drilling units according to: - international regulations; - acquis communautaire; - national technical norms of administrations; - classification societes rules recognised by administrations; - applicable standards; - internal technical norms; - construction documentation; - stipulated contract clauses. TECHNICAL PROGRAMMES DEVELOPMENT EUROSHIP ENGINEERING carries out technical programmes for shipbuilding in conformity with: - international regulations; - acquis communautaire; - national technical norms of administrations; - classification societes rules recognised by administrations; - applicable standards; - internal technical norms; - numerical computation methods; - mechanics of solids; - mechanics of fluids; - strength of materials; - ship theory, of type: - numerical computation programmes; - ship theory programmes; - naval structural analysis programmes; - scantlings programmes according to classification societes rules; - loading programmes (for stability and strength assessment of working ships); - programmes for processing of data. RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT EUROSHIP ENGINEERING carries out research and development works on its own resources and in collaboration with universities' teams, research institutes and natural persons (speacialists in ship research and design) for: - establishing of advanced procedures and methods for scantling and assessment of ships and off-shore drilling units at a high level of technical competence; - technological development through achievement of new competitive manufac- turing and testing technologies for ships and off-shore drilling units; - technological transfer to shipyard and repairers of ships and off-shore drilling units, owners and operators (technical documentations, technologies of manu- facturing, technical fitness assessment, tests reports, etc.) to ensure building or repairing of these constructions with minimal consumption of materials, ener- gy and labour, to carry out services to clients at a high level of technical competence that ensure: - a high level of effectiveness, safety and security of ships and off-shore drilling units; - prevention of enviroment pollution .//
